The Team

Financial Manager

Reanne van der Merwe

Reanne  van der Merwe - Acting Chief Financial Officer ParetoReanne is the Financial Manager at Pareto Limited having joined the company in October 2009. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and previously worked at Pareto from March 2007 to August 2008.

After leaving Pareto, he worked as the Group Financial Manager at Mangwanani Day Spa. Prior to joining Pareto in 2007, he spent many years working in the insurance industry working at companies like Regent Life Assurance and African Life Assurance Ltd in various financial management roles. Reanne passed the Board exam in 1996 and completed his articles with Den Boer en van der Laan in 1997.

Asset Managers

Kebalepile Wilson Mashiane

Wilson joined Pareto in 2007 as a Property Asset Manager. He is a law graduate and has augmented his legal qualification with various property related course.

His property experience prior to joining Pareto includes stints at Transnet Retirement Fund’s property division and at Old Mutual.

He oversees two of the major regional shopping centres in South Africa – The Pavilion in Durban and Southgate Mall and Value Mall in Johannesburg.

Kapei wa Phahlamohlaka
Kebalepile Wilson Mashiane

Kapei, who has degrees in law, public administration and management, and a Masters in Business Administration, joined Pareto in 2007. He also has a Certificate in Shopping Centre Management , a Certificate in Commercial Property Practice as well as Property Development Programme.

Prior to joining Pareto, he held Asset Manager positions at the Public Investment Corporation and at Ithala Development Finance Corporation. Kapei’s portfolio includes Pareto’s numerous investments in and around Sandton City as well as Cresta Shopping Centre, both in Johannesburg.

He is also responsible for various corporate operational functions, including procurement and marketing.

Thenjiwe Zondi
Thenjiwe Zondi

Thenjiwe joined Pareto as a Trainee Property Asset Manager in January 2008. In 2009, she was appointed as a Property Asset Manager responsible for Mimosa Mall in Bloemfontein.

She currently holds a B. Com Honours degree in Accounting and a certificate in shopping centre management.

 

Meschack Phiri
Meschack Phiri

Meshack joined Pareto in 2009 from the Broll Property Group where he had been General Manager of Cresta Shopping Centre, one of Pareto’s major assets.

A BCom graduate from Wits University, he has also completed a Certificate in Shopping Centre Management and attended a Property Development Programme.

His previous work experience includes a period at the Airports Company of South Africa – Retail division, the Department of Public Works and JHI Property Services. He is responsible for Westgate Shopping Centre in Johannesburg and Tyger Valley Centre in Cape Town.
