Owned 67% by Pareto Limited, this mall opened its doors to the public in October 1990.
The remaining 33% is co-owned by Fountainhead Property Trust and Sycom Property Fund.

This mall is located within 10 minutes drive south of Jozi and approximately 3 minutes from the world renowned stadium of Soccer City. It was the first regional mall targeted at inhabitants of the southern suburbs such as Mondeor, Kibler Park and Winchester Hills - including the most populous township of Soweto.
The mall currently has a floor area of 69,000 m2 and is home to approximately 178 shops. The diverse tenant mix is a direct reflection of the cosmopolitan character of the mall’s shoppers. A valuable retail feature which compliments the mall is Southgate Value Market which is located within walking distance across the road.
Typical retailers found at the mall include inter alia jewellers, banks, designer clothing and shoes, entertainment and furniture. Major retailers operating from the mall include Geen & Richards, Morkels, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Spitz, Mr. Price, Woolworths, Edgars and the Foschini group.
The recently improved and refurbished public conveniences have added shopping pleasure to the shoppers. Travel to the mall is trouble free as a result of easy access from and to the surrounding freeway network. Public transport users are also catered for as there is a taxi rank facility at the mall’s doorstep.
An estimated 9.5 million shoppers have visited the mall in the last year and have spent approximately R966 million amongst them.
A number of improvement projects are under consideration and will be revealed once planning has been completed. These are aimed at entrenching the mall as a premier shopping destination in the south of Jozi.
